Meet The Face Behind Jubillee Signature Events
Hi there, I am Carol Nzeribe, the proud owner of Jubillee Signature Events. I hope that by sharing my story with you, you’ll get to know me better and understand my motivation, drive and passion for design. I have always been curious about shape and how they can be expanded and transformed as well as the innovative process of upcycling old items to recreate new accessories that suited my lifestyle.
In 2007 while still in school I planned my wedding and while I was able to save money and the event was beautiful, looking back I wish I had hired a wedding coordinator to manage and coordinate the details, allowing myself and family to truly enjoy our special day. Although they were more than happy to help, it would have been nice to see them enjoy the party with their guests.
I have since planned numerous events and weddings for friends and family and at one of the events where I was called on to help out, there was a lot of interest in my designs and guest would ask for my business card or Instagram page. I put two and two together and realized that if I could have fun transforming bare spaces into modern and elegant havens, and there was a need for my services I could help time constrained professionals to plan their intimate events. In light of this awareness and with careful thought, coaching and mentoring, I enrolled in The Wedding Academy with Kylie Carlson and became a professional event and wedding planner one year ago!
Over the past twelve months, I have noticed the internet taking events to the next level, as everyone wants to throw a lavish bash that is not only viewed, but saved, shared and pined on all social media platforms. I keep this in mind while consulting with my clients and do my best to make their dreams come true by listening carefully to their vision so that we can create the most memorable event that is also pin and Insta worthy.
As a wedding Day and event Coordinator I look for opportunities to maximize my client’s satisfaction and a huge part of that is creating spaces that imprint in the memories of my clients and their guests. Another piece of that is coordinating an event that is seamless and stress free so that every person present at the event can let loose and partake of a truly memorable day.
My Grandmother always said ‘anything worth doing at all is worth doing well’ and I take this to heart when planning and coordinating events. I am dedicated to excellence and a stickler for perfection which comes through strongly in my work. My definition of perfection is whatever makes my clients smile. This coupled with my integrity, goofy and easy going attitude makes collaborating with clients and other professionals a key to any successful event and definitely sets me apart from the rest. Why work if you can’t have fun doing it?
Thankfully, I am also blessed with a wonderful support system in my family and my strong faith. When I am not organizing events, I love self-development, inspiring others, reading, crafting, photography, traveling with my best friends, and spending quality time with my family. It is a dream of mine to give back to underprivileged children and hopefully one day open and operate a safe haven for sexually abused children.
